This lovely home in Angola by the Bay in Lewes, Delaware, was an enjoyable exterior painting project for Lamb's Custom Painting. The home owners, both being artists, approached Lamb's with this spirited color scheme. As you can see we started with a blank canvas and transformed it into a cozy, colorful dwelling. The fun colors are favorites of the home owners and they were truly delighted with the amazing transformation.
We started with preparation of the surfaces. We sanded and chipped away the old paint. We then caulked, filling any gaps. We applied two coats of Sherwin-Williams Resilience exterior paint in Determined Orange with a satin finish to the main body of the house, contrasting with a Plum Brown to the chimney, outside shower, around the windows, and above the front door. We finished with Sherwin-Williams Super Paint in a white semi gloss to the hand rails and spindles along the front walkway, the back porch and upper rear deck.
